Danny Choriki has spent his life in Yellowstone County — close to the land, the people, and the everyday challenges that families, farmers, and small businesses face. He knows that good county government isn’t about ideological battles: it’s about making sure the roads are passable, the services are there when you need them, and the money doesn’t get wasted.
Danny’s approach is rooted in a simple but powerful idea: a government that prevents problems is always cheaper, smarter, and more humane than one that only reacts to them. He calls this the Prevention-First approach — and his Five-R framework is how he’ll put it into practice from Day One.
Danny believes in the Dignity Index — that every conversation in county government should treat everyone with respect, even when we disagree. Community only works when all voices are heard.
