About Danny

A Neighbor Who Gets It

Danny Choriki was born and educated in Montana. From Bozeman, ro Moccasin, to Great Falls High School to MSU Bozeman to New York City, Danny has spent his life close to the land, the people, and the everyday challenges that families, farmers, and small businesses face. He knows that good county government isn’t about ideological battles: it’s about making sure the roads are passable, the services are there when you need them, and the money doesn’t get wasted.

Danny’s approach is rooted in a simple but powerful idea: a government that prevents problems is always cheaper, smarter, and more humane than one that only reacts to them. He calls this the Prevention-First approach — and his Five-R framework is how he’ll put it into practice from Day One.

Danny believes in the Dignity Index — that every conversation in county government should treat everyone with respect, even when we disagree. Community only works when all voices are heard.
